Searching online for friends sounds lame, no matter how you put it. However, the internet is one of the most vast, infinite places to meet new people. These sites use your location to find people of similar interest in your area.
5. Local Gathering Spots
Last but most certainly not least, find local hot spots. These can be cafés, bars, clubs, library, bookstores, etc. The best way to do this is just to go out and explore. Make sure you go to different places at different times; routine checks are less likely to produce good results. Mix up your times so you can meet people are different times.
