There are so many delicious and authentic Italian restaurants in St. Louis that it can be hard to choose a favorite. From the traditional eateries on the hill to modern dining across the city, St. Louis is truly a haven for all of us who can’t get enough pasta! Regardless if you prefer meatballs, Italian sandwiches, or seafood pasta, you’ll surely find an entree that suits your taste at these fine St. Louis establishments.

Anthonino’s

At Anthonino’s, you’ll feel like family. And when family cooks for you, it’s always better. They make their pasta and sauces fresh, and you can taste it. Outside of bread and coffee, everything on the menu is made in-house. We suggest the Tutti Mare that includes clams, squid, shrimp, and crab claws. At only $16, this seafood-packed pasta is a steal!

Bar Italia

With a modern flair, Bar Italia offers simple, delicious food that keeps us returning. Beyond the classic pasta dishes, this Italian restaurant offers fresh salads, soups, and entrees that will please any palette. We suggest “the Salmone” that is served with polenta, seasonal greens, and vegetables.

Adriana’s

This charming little shop is the perfect pitstop for lunch. Andriana’s is a family restaurant and even chose to name their fare after members of the family. While they offer pizza and pasta, we cannot stray from their delectable sandwiches. We suggest the Mary, Charlie, and the meatball. But be careful. Once you have a sandwich from Adriana’s, you’ll never enjoy a chain sandwich spot again!

Gian-Tony’s Ristorante

Labeled as a “true Sicicilian dining experience”, Gian-Tony’s is a traditional Italian eatery you must try. If you don’t make a reservation for this fabulous Italian restaurant, chances are you won’t get a table. Luckily, you can quickly reserve a table through their website. We suggest the Fettuccine Alla Gian-Tony with pink sauce which includes shrimp, mushrooms, and parmesan.

Roberto’s Trattoria

While Roberto’s is found within a strip mall, don’t let its location fool you. Their classic Italian dishes and friendly service are second to none. Even better, they offer Wine Wednesday with half-priced bottles! We suggest the Trucktoria Italian Salad and the Beef Spiedini.

With so many Italian restaurants to choose from, it is truly difficult to make a decision. We propose that you try them all and make your own assumption, and then let us know how we did!
